I’ve been through countless RPGs that I could never stay active on, and have gone on many hiatuses over my seven years of roleplaying, due to frustration with randomly dead sites and terrible communities. However, Lost Memories is the most special RPG I’ve ever had to luck to stumble upon, about two years ago. Even then, LM’s community welcomed me warmly and, with some casual encouragement to drop the normal awkwardness of a new member on an ordinary site, I dove into the hilarity that was and is this group today. I even became the fourth administrator for some time, before I had to leave the site for real life issues.

Now, three years since its creation, LM hasn’t changed too much, aside from having a better appearance. On the inside, the people are still crazy and friendly and full of love. Having just recently gone back, I’ve been faced with the same difficulties as a new member, trying to figure out the plot. Being such an old Kingdom Hearts RPG (I’d venture to say one of the longest lasting ones out there), the plot is entirely different than anything else, including the games. Though canons from Birth By Sleep are being played at the moment, our plots do not really incorporate anything else from the third installment. Currently being based six years after the end of KH2, this leaves us with a clean slate to develop further on. Being such a small community in which everyone’s ideas are contributed, heard and considered, I find that LM is only second to going through the trouble of creating your own roleplay when it comes to imaginative freedom.

Many have been intimidated by our craziness. Many more have been intimidated by our closeness, due to our size. Not to worry, though. The best thing to do is jump right in, and go with the flow of things. Lost Memories is as much as a place to have fun and make friends as it is to express yourself through writing.

Warning: Although Lost Memories is a legit KH RPG, and our members stay on track most of the time, it is also a lulzy crackhouse, and should be approached by any serious “OMG, is that supposed to be IC?” roleplayers with their heads stuck up their bums with extreme caution. Choose to go against our insanity, and you will lose. D8<
