Inumaru walked through the forest, her mind almost set to auto. She already knows this forest as though she grew up in it…. Wait… she sis grow up in it. It made her feel safe. She looked around and smiled.
‘ The trees say that I may make a friend today.’ She thought as she smiled.
She felt the wind blow in her hair, playing with it. She let out a satisfied growl. It felt good to know that she was among and old “friend”. If she could call the forest that. She loved the forest. It seemed to take care of her when she needed it. She guessed it must have been payment for keeping it in tact and damage free. She wondered… She felt something run into her leg. She looked down and saw a little kit. She reached down to pick it up. It was a demon kit, but I didn’t seem to think that it was in danger. What else would it come to her? It whimpered.
‘Its lost?’ Inumaru thought.
She whimpered back and wit mewed a little.
‘Ah, you hunger then?’ Inumaru thought as she carried it and continued to walk around in search of food.
She set the kit down as she spotted two birds. She jumped into the air and easily killed both of them. She caught them as they descended to the earth. She plucked off the feathers of one and put it in front of the kit to eat. It seemed pretty hesitant to take the bird, but in the end, it began to eat it. Inumaru soon plucked the father’s off of hers and ate half of it and draining it of its blood so that it wouldn’t stink later. She looked over towards the young kit and saw its eyes flutter close. She put her bird down and pulled out both her tambourines. She played a gentle melody that was almost the twinkling of bells to help the kit fall asleep.

If one truly wanted to view the forest or the world in that sort of sense, they would be able to see that it truly was a sanctuary for all that came to it. A place where one could normally let go of all of their troubles and not have to worry about what the rest of the world would have to say or do about anything. That was what the people of the world wanted, wasn't it? Sometimes he could question that motive with all of the odd things that had been happening around here lately... so off.
One, two, three. From one tree to another, he allowed the forest to play the tune that he'd picked out. The leaves would rustle one after the other. Yet, he was sure to add a different pressure to each and every stride that he made. This way it did create that musical tone that he'd wanted. maybe he was really the only one odd enough to do such a thing like this. Though it truly was something that he would enjoy. He only had a musical sense thanks to spending some time with close friends as he grew.
Music in any shape or form was something that he thought that he would be able to pick out of anything. Coming to a halt, he finished his own tune that the forest played for him rather quickly. Those black and white ears flickered forward to the sound of something else. He hadn't expected someone else to be around here but it was something that he surly didn't mind. With others around all that meant was more company for him and someone to even talk to! His life ran off interacting with others no matter who they were.
Those red violet orbs scanned the area around him with no luck of finding the source of the music. A disappointed look painted itself among his features but he took off again, determined to find its source. That was where the sense of hearing he had would come in. It wasn't as good as that of a wolf or some other dogs but it worked rather find for him in the long run. Having any sense of hearing was better than none? Wasn't it? Not long after he continued to venture on, the sound got louder to him.
A couple of seconds later, he'd found Inumaru and the little demon fox kit. That large fluffy tail of his wagged back and forth in excitement as it always did. Without any hesitation he landed not to far away from them but was careful to keep his impact with the ground gentle, not to send any vibrations that would disturb the sleeping kit. Normally he was rather loud and hyperactive and up in someone's face but he wouldn't disturb many if they slept. With a frantic excited wave to Inumaru, he introduced himself. "Hi, I'm Revie!"

Inumaru kept playing the tambourines, well aware that something may come find herself and the kit. Nothing was safe in the forest no matter how safe it seemed. She looked towards the kit and smiled at its sleeping face. It must have trusted her for it to just let it feed her and fall asleep. Her ears twitched as she caught an odd sound out. Footsteps…
‘Who could it be? It doesn’t feel like a bad aura… Maybe it’s the Kit’s mom, dad, or relative.’ Inumaru thought as her playing got slightly louder.
When she was in the middle of a turn, a demon… or hanyou, she wasn’t too sure, landed near them. She was relieved he didn’t land hardly as that would have woken up the kit. Thought his words caught her off guard along with his wave.
"Hi, I'm Revie!"
He had said to her. At first it made her look around to see if he was talking to her. Though after she did she felt silly in knowing that it was only herself and the kit there. She stopped playing the tambourines and smiled at him; though it was a shy and hesitant one. She whimpered.
‘I hope he understands that I meant “hello”.’ Inumaru thought before she heard a mew.
She looked towards the kit and smiled. Guess she should have kept playing hunh? She walked over to the kit and picked it up. She nuzzled the top of its head and whined.
‘ Welcome back to the world of the living.’ Inumaru thought as it whined back.
Who was the other? Inumaru whined for about three seconds in two different tones.
‘He says his name is Revie.’ Inumaru thought as she looked back towards Revie.
He did seem to be friendly… Inumaru walked over to him, her ears flat against her skull. Keeping a three foot distance away from Reive, she began to circle him. She sniffed ever now and again, then she stopped. He seemed safe and friendly at that… She’ll give him a chance….

The way that he revealed himself so easily and randomly greeted everyone, one may have never guessed that he was a ninja. Shinobi were supposed to be all stealthy, right? Well, he could be like that but just normally didn't take that sort of role upon himself. He would only become that sort of ninja character when he had a mission to do. Though with no one around, how was someone supposed to give him missions? Maybe he could have taken on a job like a mercenary or something of that sort. So many choices, and so much time.
When Inumaru had looked around after he'd introduced himself, he couldn't help but tilt his head to the side and do the same. Was there something that he was missing here? He wasn't sure but when she smiled at him without a word, all he could do was blink in confusion. He'd never come across someone that didn't talk back to him unless they were ignoring him. Although this it was clear to him that he wasn't being ignored if she were looking directly at him and smiling. His mind searched for answers now.
Revlis stayed silent, which was hard for him to do as he watched the girl go and pick up the small fox. Then she'd come back and had begun to circle him. Yet, he wouldn't be one that would suddenly go on the defense about this like his brother. He was the one that would be stupid enough to trust everyone that he came in contact with. It was just something that he'd taught himself to do. If someone attacked then he'd take every right action to defend himself. In this world, you fought to live.
Only three feet away and Inumaru had stopped. His ears pricked forward, trying to pick up the sense of any sound. Maybe she'd said something and he just hadn't been listening close enough. Nothing came to those canine like ears of his and that was frustrating for once in his life. There was also the possibility in his mind that she could have just been doing this to him on purpose. If that was the case, he wouldn't be one to let her get away with it. The inu hanyou began to advance towards her once more.
He stopped, putting them maybe a foot apart now. "What's your name," he happily questioned. Glancing back down at his shirt again, he blinked an gasped. How could he forget?! "This is Mr.Llama of DOOM," he said, making sure to add in the 'doom' part. On his shirt was a pink llama with rainbow eyes and golden wings standing beside some banana pudding. It was something that he'd grabbed from the modern era much like everything else that he wore. "Mr.Llama says 'hi,'" Rev was surely quick to add on. All he could do was wait.

Inumaru watched as Revie advance towards her. She almost growled at him… She had to give him a chance first…
“What’s your name?”
Inumaru’s ear’s flattened against her head… She whined tone different tones before she growled low. That was how she said her name.
‘Inumaru.’ She thought as she looked at Revie.
She figured he didn’t know what she was saying so she tapped her throat, trying to tell him that she couldn’t speak, or she didn’t know how to speak. Well, in a normal way anyway. Her head cocked to the said as she looked at his shirt.
‘Such an odd design… What? A Mr. Llama of doom?’ Inumaru thought before Revie said something else.
The Llama had rold her hello? Inumaru waved at it, completely confused as she didn’t even hear it make a sound. The kit stirred in her arms and whined.
‘ Tell him I said hello.’ She thought as the kit squirmed some more.
Inumaru picked the kit’s paw up and made it wave to Revie. That was the only way she could think of at the moment. Inumaru didn’t know any other way she could talk to Revie. If he didn’t know what her canine sounds meant, then he couldn’t tell what she was saying… Inumaru’s ears twitched as she tried to find a solution to this problem… She put the kit down and grabbed a stick that was near her foot. She carefully scribbled her name in the earth. “Inumaru.” Was written in the earth seconds later. She felt a little embarrassed that this was the first person to speak with her and she couldn’t even tell him her name… her ears flattened against her head as she looked at Revie. Would he even be able to read what she wrote? Her hand writing wasn’t exactly the neatest around.

Those odd sounds and gestures that she made were off to him by far. How was he supposed to be one to understand them? Oh course in a sense he was part canine. Though he'd never had to look to that side of himself for any reason. Everyone that he spoke to would only speak the same language that he'd been taught growing up. So what was the need for it? It wasn't like he ran around with any canines or demons that shared the same blood that he did as well. There was a fine line.
It was a line that would push him to never be accepted by any one in any world. This was what had banished him from the rest of the people. This blood that he had of only being half human and half demon. What was a simple hanyou worth to anyone anyway? It was like he was truly meant to have more purpose. For years he had allowed himself to believe was born into such a cruel fate. That was why he'd taken matters into his own hands and carved out his own place in the world to live.
Yet all of these thoughts were then banished from his mind when Inumaru had said hello to the llama on his shirt. Of course being Revlis, he couldn't help but be thrilled about the whole thing. This was wonderful! A big goofy grin plastered itself upon his features even though he had no way of making Mr. Llama of DOOM wave back. It was after all, just a tee shirt design that he had found in a mall or some place like that back in the modern era. Sometimes he couldn't remember things such as that from then.
His red violet gaze shifted back over to the fox kit when the other hanyou had made it waved. His ears stayed alert for any sound that he would be able to understand but of course once again, nothing came to him. That gaze of his followed the figure as she set the kit down and grabbed a stick. He watched carefully as she engraved her name into the ground below and bent down over it to get a good look at the writing. "Inu...maru," he then guessed, glancing back up at her to see if he was correct.
Standing there for a moment, he allowed his mind to wander on about as to why the girl still wasn't really speaking to him. "Oh, are we playing the quite game? I suck at that one... So I guess I already lost," he rambled on to her but himself as well. Thinking about it some more, another idea came to mind. "I know, I know! You're acting like a mime, right? Since they can't talk or anything? Brilliant!" Indeed, he was the only one in the world who didn't have enough common sense to realize anything.

Inumaru nodded her head as Revie got her name right. She even whimpered happily. She did however, do an anime fall when he thought it was a game.
‘I can’t speak where you can understand me yet! I still need someone to teach me!’ Inumaru yelled in her head.
This was the times where she wished she had learned how to talk when she had the chance. Though her mother though it to be cute that she could only speak like a canine. She saw the kit paw at her leg and she picked I back up. It whined.
‘Well, writing to him is always an option.’ Inumaru thought as she wrote in the ground once more.
It took her awhile with all of her mistakes and rewriting but she’d managed to write down what she wanted to say.
Konnichiwa… I am Inumaru… I’m sorry that I can not speak to you as I can not speak were people can understand me. Please forgive my lack of politeness.
It read. Though there were a lot of scratches and hand prints. The kit correcting her spelling and strokes weren’t any better.
‘ I hope he can understand that… it’s kind of messy but I think I will live.’ Inumaru thought as she looked back at Revie.
She knew he had to be confused about the entire situation at hand. Her ears flattened against her head. She felt so… useless! That and stupid! Unknowingly she let a frustrated growl escape her throat. She heard the Kit whimper and paw at her face.
‘Do not be so mad?’ Inumaru asked.
She smiled and whined to it.
‘I am not mad… well I do not mean to be mad… It is just so frustrating!’ Inumaru thought as she bit her bottom lip hard enough to draw blood.

Those black and whit ears flickered forward to the sound of a thud on the ground. Rev's red violet gaze looked back to Inumaru, the confusion only growing. 'What kinda mime act is this,' he thought to himself. Maybe it was worse that he could talk and Inumaru couldn't. The world would have been better if he wasn't able to read, write, or talk. All he did was annoy those around him and they grew to have little patience for him and his ignorance. Yet, some how he still managed to have a large group of friend.
Of course her writing on the ground was sure to grab his attention once again. He watched carefully as the words came out one by one. Then she would make a correction or two but somehow he still got the point. Maybe it was because he wasn't the best writer either. Well the main point behind it all was that he was able to understand what she was trying to get across to him. It took a moment for the words to process through his mind. He was... slow, in a way but it was not that bad though.
"You can't talk?!" The words came out so quickly in shock after that long silence. Was this still a game or was she serious? That was the problem that he had right now. Looking back to the other hanyou girl, he approached her and leaned forward some. He raised a brow at her when she growled and then glanced back at the kit again. His tail flickered back and forth as he pondered. Standing straight again some, he crossed his arms in front of his chest like he was thinking, looking at he sky. This was a problem indeed.
What ever could he do? Revlis was one that didn't have a single clue. He looked back at her, those canine eyes glowing. "Well, I guess we have a problem here... that's nothing to fear! 'But Mr. Llama can't speak too. Exactly what should we do?" Here he was talking in rhymes once again; he needed some serious help with that. The inu hanyou could observe her frustration. Well one thing they had right for them now as that they could communicate with each other. Now i was just matter of getting things on a good level.
"This isn't good at all, especially since you took that fall! Well the good thing is that you can already walk, so all we need to do is teach you to talk," he said aloud. Though how was he supposed to teach her to talk when all that she could do was make those canine noises? He'd never had to worry about something like this so that was a problem. "Is there any word that you can say? If so, say it today!" He couldn't help himself right now. Rhyming was something he did without thinking everyday.
