The mountains stand tall above the lands, looking down upon those below them. This mountain range is capped with snow on its tops year around. Many find the mountains a challenge to climb and very few have ever made it and lived to tell the story on their was done. Some wonder if a demon lives here that devours those whom dare to enter the mountain range. Either way, if you can reach the top, it's fun to play in the snow!
It was time for the the Ruler of Night to take action to conquering the northern lands. In her delicate hands she held her mirror of life as she grinned to see a reflection of the Kumori Mountains. It was high almost piercing the clouds in the sky. As she continued to look through the mirror, Kaguya noticed that a calamity has happened in the near by village. It seemed that because the village is near the mountains, there is a constant snow storm, but how can a simple mountain cause a snow storm killing half of the village. And not only that, the victims of the snow storm are all men. The princess became curious in the latter and looked deeper in her mirrior of life.
It seemed that there was a demon interfering. The ruler of night's rosy lips curled into a smile as she looked closer. "Humm... What have we here?" she asked herself in question. "My mirror has spotted another demon, with the same flow of time as myself. Ah yes, the snow demon Yuki Onna." The Yuki Onna was a snow demon that took the form of a human female, terrorizing the men of that village. "Huhuhuhuh." Kaguya chuckled at the fact that the demon froze the village men near death and then leads them to her resident in Kumori Mountains placing them in an illusion. In the aftermath of it, the Yuki Onna would devour her human prey. "This demon could prove to be quite a nuisance to my conquering reign." Kaguya sighed in annoyance. In order to start her conquest of making an eternal night, she had to have the land under her rule. Starting with defeating the snow demon, Yuki Onna. Perhaps even devouring her and obtain her power. It may be quite useful.

"Snow, snow, snow," he chanted to himself as he pranced around the white blanket that covered he ground. This was the only reason that he ever came to these mountains, he just loved the snow! Even though the inu hanyou was eighteen years old, he was still like a child at heart. Well then again just about everything that he did was childish... there was no doubt about that even if he wouldn't be the one to admit it. Scooping up some snow in his hands, he happily tossed it back up into the air and cheered in delight.
Those red violet orbs watched as the snow would come to fall back down. There was nothing else in the world that could make him this happy. That was what he wanted to tell himself at least. Of course though, he never would have been one to keep his guard down. When it came to fighting or to a mission, he lost most of his childish act and became serious. It was almost like a transformation but only in personality. He was limited to not become a demon or a human. He aged like a human but kept demonic features.
Revlis was fully aware that there was a demonic presence in the air. He'd heard stories of the demon that would come and take men. Though who would be be to fall victim to someone? The inu hanyou wasn't one that would fall in love that easily. Instead, he kept his world open and didn't burden himself with such dedication to someone but his fellow shinobi. There was something else in the air, a stronger presence that would keep him on his feet. This demonic energy was something he'd never felt before, it was clearly powerful.
As the snow finished falling, he looked around from the base of a mountain. Exactly what was this feeling that he got? It wasn't like he was being watched and he was sure that he was the only one in the area. Of course though, his mind would allow his thoughts to linger and prove him wrong most of the time. His tail flickered slightly in annoyance at the thought that someone else was around. He didn't like not knowing where someone else was. There was always the choice of making this a game of hide and seek.
Yes! That was just what he would do. This was a game and someone was playing with him, doing the hiding. The demonic presence was all that he could find. Though his senses were scattered so he wouldn't be able to located the owner easily. His sense of smell was useless now too since he didn't know what sort of scent he was trying to find. Deciding it was time to look, he smiled to himself. "Come out, come out wherever you are!" He then started hopping around in the snow, trying to find the presence's owner.
